It doesn’t matter the stage of life we are at, it is never too late to get inspired.  Many things that inspire us turn into hobbies or enjoyable activities that can result in being an expert over time.  There are endless sources of inspiration all around us.  The opportunity to act on these inspirations always requires the effort to try with continued practice.    Running has always been my personal passion and ultimate fitness activity throughout my life.  At first I ran to keep in shape, reduce stress, and clear my mind.  Then, I took my passion to an entirely different level as I got really good at it.  I began entering 5K, 10K and half marathon charity races that supports both my running passion and the many causes these races benefit.  It was no longer just about me, as I was taking my passion to an entirely different level.  I empowered my passion by extending myself to helping others, with the same amount of effort I would have expended running on my own.  Transitioning my efforts from passion to compassion has been powerful and rewarding. 

Anyone can empower their passion to helping others.  Understandably, with so many personal passions that exist, it might take some creative thinking to figure out a way to help others with your passion.  For instance, all the running I have done has sculpted my body enough to the level I felt fit to get into modeling and pageantry.  In the area of modeling, I do a lot of trade work with photographers and hair and makeup artists that need models for practice and to boost their work.  I have also runway modeled for many charity fashion events, trading my time and efforts for more experience, photos, and opportunities to get my name out for future work.  In the area of pageantry, I utilized my life experiences as personal examples to inspire others to empower their passions the way I have to help others.  I have also inspired others to get into running, modeling, and pageantry, as well transition people’s lives to becoming more active and healthy through my own experiences.  It is never too late to start any of these activities as I started modeling and pageantry while in my 40's and did well in both industries.
